Custom T-Shirt Printing in Ireland

Textile Print screen prints t-shirts from our Limerick workshop, serving Ireland since 1994.

Screen printing is priced per colour, each colour needs its own screen, it’s considered the most economical method for runs of 50+ units in 1–6 colours.

For full-colour designs or smaller runs, our DTF printing skips screen setup entirely. Quotes within 24 hours.

T-shirt printing FAQs

Why does the number of colours change the price?

Every colour in a screen printed design needs its own screen, exposed and registered by hand, plus its own pass on the press. A 3-colour logo means three screens and three setups, so each additional colour adds to the setup cost. That cost spreads thinner the more shirts you print.

When is screen printing cheaper than DTF?

Screen printing wins on runs of roughly 50 units or more with 1–3 colours, because the setup cost spreads across the run and the per-shirt ink cost is very low. Under 50 units, or for full-colour artwork, DTF is more economical because it has no screens.

What is the minimum order for screen printed t-shirts?

We recommend screen printing from 50 units, which is where it becomes better value than DTF. We can screen print smaller runs on request, but for orders of 10–49 shirts we’ll usually quote DTF instead so you’re not paying setup costs that don’t suit the quantity.

Can you print full-colour designs and photos?

Yes. Full-colour and photographic designs are printed with our in-house DTF process, which reproduces gradients, photos and complex artwork at any quantity with no setup fees. For bold designs in 1–6 solid colours at volume, screen printing gives the lowest cost per shirt.

How long does a large rollout take?

Custom decorated orders typically dispatch within 12 working days of proof approval, including large rollouts. Tell us your deadline when you request a quote and we’ll be straight with you about what’s achievable — for repeat B2B clients we can hold stock and agree SLAs.

Do you keep our screens for repeat orders?

Yes. Once your screens are made we store them at our Limerick workshop, so repeat orders skip the setup stage — faster turnaround and no repeat setup fees for the same design. Most of our clients reorder the same prints year after year.

How much do the T-Shirts cost?

T-Shirts range depending on quality.
They can go any where from €2 – €10 depending on the quality your are looking for. Best to enquire on what the event is and we can recommmend something. Whether its cotton, poly cotton or polyester.
